Eco Resort, Aravalli Hills | Hospitality Architecture + Interiors

Location

Aravalli Hills

Project type

Architecture and Interiors

Rootsense envisions a multisensory eco resort near Damdama Lake in the Aravalli Hills, Haryana, designed to bring together nature, wellness, and thoughtful hospitality architecture. Spread across 10 acres, the proposed resort is planned as a low-density retreat that responds to the natural landscape, offering guests an immersive experience surrounded by the Aravalli hills and the scenic setting of Damdama Lake.

The resort design responds to the site's natural contours, which range from 216 to 225 metres above sea level, its open views towards the south and east, and the dense vegetation along its eastern edge. With a proposed ground coverage of 30%, the planning aims to balance built spaces with open landscapes, creating a sensitive relationship between architecture and nature.

The proposed development includes approximately 30 premium guest rooms, sensorial gardens, a swimming pool, spa, pavilion, restaurant, café, and recreational play areas. Each space is envisioned to engage the senses through natural materials, landscape, light, sound, and the surrounding environment.

The design approach explores sustainable resort architecture and wellness-focused hospitality design, with an emphasis on site-responsive planning, outdoor experiences, and a strong connection to the natural setting. The vision is to create a distinctive eco resort near Damdama Lake where architecture and landscape come together to offer a peaceful retreat in the Aravalli Hills.
