What if a bathroom could feel less like a utility space and more like an experience?

Nature inspired bathroom with a stone tub under a skylight, surrounded by potted plants. Bottles on the ledge. Calm, earthy tones.
A bathroom designed as an experience, not just a utility space.

For Beyond the Bath 2.0 by Livingetc India, we explored the idea of creating a bathroom that feels grounded, immersive, and emotionally calming, a space designed not just for routine, but for pause.

Inspired by nature, the concept embraces:

  • Soft sculptural forms

  • Earth-toned textured surfaces

  • Diffused natural light

  • Organic spatial flow

  • Warm metallic accents for contrast

Instead of sharp transitions and visual clutter, the design focuses on fluidity and stillness. Curved walls guide movement gently through the space, while the skylight brings in shifting natural light that changes the mood throughout the day.

The material palette was intentionally restrained. Earthy plasters, stone-like textures, muted tones, and tactile finishes allow light and form to become the defining elements of the space.

Nature inspired bathroom with rose gold fixtures, matte khaki and grey finishes, large basin, lush plants, and ambient lighting. Text labels present.
This bathroom showcases rose gold faucets and fixtures that complement the gentle, earthy hues of matte khaki and grey surfaces.

Contrasting metallic faucets were introduced as subtle focal points, adding definition and refinement against the softer backdrop.

The result is a bathroom imagined as a sensory retreat, calm, atmospheric, and deeply connected to nature.

We’re honoured that this concept was recognised as 2nd Runner Up at Beyond the Bath 2.0 and featured in Livingetc India – April 2025 Edition ✨
