At Rootsense, our journey began with a shared vision, a passion for design, and a deep connection to our roots and surroundings. Founded by Yashvi, Jeevesh and Siddhant—friends since college—we set out to create spaces where design goes beyond aesthetics, reconnecting people to nature and the essence of Indian craftsmanship.
Our story started in the studios of our college, where we dreamt of designing spaces that reflect our values and beliefs. With a common goal, we came together to explore the potential of Indian materials, artistry, and design practices. The name "Rootsense" reflects our commitment to conscious design—blending the essence of "roots" with "sense" to create spaces that are not only functional but also deeply meaningful.
Based in Delhi, Rootsense began with a focus on architecture and interior design. However, our aspirations soon extended beyond traditional boundaries. Inspired by our travels through the villages of South India during college, we envisioned a collection rooted in Indian craftsmanship. This vision became a reality as we began creating a collection that celebrates the rich diversity of Indian arts and materials.
Our mission is to create spaces that are not just beautiful, but also meaningful. We believe design has the power to transform experiences and foster connections. At Rootsense, we approach every project with a sense of possibility, experimenting with each space to give it a unique character and story.

Meet The Team
With a passion for designing spaces that evoke emotions and fulfill human needs, Yashvi sees architecture as more than just physical form. She has contributed to notable projects such as NTPC Eco Park with Studio Symbiosis and the UAE Dubai Pavilion with Andblack Studio. Yashvi has also worked with the world-renowned Alexis Dornier Architecture firm, contributing to projects in Bali, Indonesia.
Blending contemporary and traditional practices, Yashvi strives to create sustainable, organic, and fluid spaces. At Rootsense, she continues to design environments that inspire and elevate the human
With a passion for crafting culturally resonant spaces, Jeevesh seamlessly merges tradition with contemporary design to create environments rich in narrative and meaning.
Notably, he has contributed to high-profile projects, including the Hilton Hotel with Studio Symbiosis. His time at BandukSmith Studio, Ahmedabad, reinforced his commitment to architecture that is both adaptive and deeply rooted in cultural narratives.
Jeevesh believes in striking a balance between creativity and functionality, ensuring each design is as practical as it is visually compelling. At Rootsense, he leads with a vision of designing spaces that inspire, connect, and endure.
Siddhant Agrawal

Graduated from School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada
Siddhant Agrawal believes in balancing the idealism of architecture with the practicalities needed to bring visionary ideas to life. With experience across various scales, Siddhant has worked on projects for esteemed fashion designers, and luxury brands during his time at Project 810. His association with Collective Project, Bangalore, contributed to his exploration of experimental design approaches.
Deeply optimistic about architecture’s role in shaping an egalitarian society, Siddhant sees design as a powerful tool for inclusivity, progress, and lasting impact. At Rootsense, he continues to push boundaries, creating spaces that inspire and endure.
