A unique interior design project, located in Indirapuram,where we designed a kids’ bedroom that seamlessly blended quirkiness with functionality. The approach involved maximizing storage while ensuring low maintenance and appealing aesthetics for children. Incorporating a mix of solids and voids in storage solutions optimized space utilization while adding visual inter- est. Pastel shades of complementary colors, coupled with neutral tones like oak wood finishes, created a playful yet durable ambiance. We introduced quirky elements such as unique furniture forms and playful lighting details to enhance the room’s character. Emphasis was placed on using low-main- tenance materials like laminates and PU coatings for effortless cleaning and upkeep. Through thoughtful details and a balanced design approach, we successfully created a kids’ bedroom that was both whimsical and practical, catering to the needs of both parents and children alike.

Recognizing the space serves various activities such as studying, sleeping, and playing, we incorpo- rated different lighting moods. We ensured to include general lighting to provide overall illumina- tion, complemented by playful suspended lights to add a whimsical touch. Additionally, we exper- imented with incorporating lights within the furniture to create a diffused ambient light, enhancing the overall atmosphere of the room.
