KCC University

Project type

Interior

Location

Delhi-NCR

As part of the Phase 1 implementation for KCC University interior design, the reception and waiting area was envisioned as a welcoming introduction to the larger institutional environment. The design balances professionalism with a sense of warmth and approachability, creating a space that feels both contemporary and engaging for students, visitors, and staff.

Soft curves integrated into the layout and furniture bring fluidity to the space, while varied seating arrangements provide comfort and flexibility for different interactions and waiting experiences. Thoughtfully incorporated greenery softens the modern palette, introducing a calming natural element that enhances the overall ambience.

The lighting design plays a key role in shaping the identity of the space, with suspended fixtures following the curves of the ceiling to create movement and visual continuity. A sculptural illuminated feature at the reception, crafted using mesh and acrylic elements, acts as a striking focal point upon entry. Designed with equal emphasis on aesthetics, durability, and user experience, the space establishes the visual and experiential language for the institute’s larger phased development.
